Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has established a special Police Transformation Reform Team to ensure greater accountability within the force following growing calls from the government and public for stronger institutional reform.

“The Indonesian National Police Chief has instructed his staff and units to respond with full responsibility and accountability,” INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said on Monday (22/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

The order was signed on 17 September 2025. The reform team consists of 52 senior and middle-ranking officers. General Listyo acts as patron, INP Deputy Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo serves as adviser, and INP Training Institute Chief Commissioner General Chryshnanda Dwilaksana leads the team.

The initiative is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s plan to set up a Police Reform Commission and his recent appointment of General (hon) Ahmad Dofiri as Special Adviser on Security and Police Reform to strengthen professionalism and restore public trust.
