Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto led the official handover ceremony for the Inspector General of Supervision and four Regional Police Chiefs at INP Headquarters in Jakarta on Friday (9/10/2026).
Under the rotation, Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri assumed the role of the INP Inspector General, replacing Commissioner General Wahyu Widada. Commissioner General Dadang Hartanto succeeded Chief Asep as Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, while Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan took over as Maluku Regional Police Chief.
In addition, Inspector General Dekananto Eko Purwono was appointed East Java Regional Police Chief, and Inspector General Pasma Royce assumed leadership of the Bali Regional Police.
INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir said that the rotations serve organizational development and career progression based on meritocracy, competence, and integrity, as reported by antaranews.com.
He emphasized that the new leadership must reinforce the "Police with the Community" approach to strengthen public trust and service quality.
