Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reiterated the government’s commitment to delivering optimal public services during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period while inspecting Tawang Station in Semarang, Central Java, on Sunday (21/12/2025). 

“Following the President’s direction, the government wants to ensure Nataru services run well, the public is served optimally, and people benefit from the incentives that have been prepared,” he said during the visit, which was part of nationwide monitoring of holiday travel and public facilities.

Chief Sigit noted that Transportation Ministry surveys project a significant increase in holiday travel, prompting the government to provide incentives such as toll road discounts, reduced ferry and train fares, and free motorcycle transport. 

At the station, the INP Chief reviewed a health post and public service facilities, including child friendly areas and disability access. He also interacted with passengers, distributed travel packages, and symbolically handed social assistance to security and service personnel.
