Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has instructed the INP’s Criminal Investigation Agency Chief Commissioner General Wahyu Widada to investigate the terror attack involving a pig’s head sent to Tempo’s media office.
The incident was reported to the police by Tempo’s editor-in-chief and the Journalist Safety Committee (KKJ).
"Regarding the incident at Tempo, I have ordered the Criminal Investigation Chief to conduct a thorough investigation," said Chief Sigit after a Ramadan event in Medan,North Sumatra, on Saturday (22/3/25).
On Wednesday, a severed pig’s head was delivered to Tempo’s journalist, identified as Fransisca Christy Rosana or Cica, who only received it the next day. On Saturday at around 8 am, a box containing six decapitated rats was found near the office.
A preliminary investigation revealed the box was thrown over the office gate at 2.11 am, hitting a parked car before landing on the pavement.
