Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General. Listyo Sigit Prabowo received the Order of Timor Leste, the highest honor from the Timor Leste government, during a ceremony at its Jakarta embassy on Monday (28/4/2025).
“The award is a testament to the INP’s international contribution, especially in strengthening bilateral ties with Timor Leste,” said INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The honor recognizes the INP Chief’s role in supporting Timor Leste’s democratic development, national stability, and enhancing police capacity, as well as his contribution during Pope Francis' 2024 visit to Indonesia and Timor Leste.
Four senior INP officials also received the Medal of Timor Leste. They are the INP Head of Education and Training, Commissioner General Chryshnanda Dwilaksana; the INP Head of International Relations Division, Inspector General Krishna Murti; the INP Head of School of Higher Leadership, Inspector General Rudi Darmoko; and the INP Head of Middle Leadership Brigadier General Bambang Sentot Widodo.
The event also saw the signing of a renewed police cooperation agreement focusing on technical training, management, intelligence, and operational skills exchange between Indonesia and Timor Leste.
