Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Prabowo Subianto projected that Indonesia’ sovereign wealth fund Danantara’s assets could exceed $1 trillion if managed professionally, transparently, and prudently. 

Speaking after the Town Hall Meeting on Danantara and State-Owned Enterprises synergy on Monday (28/4/2025), he emphasized that Indonesia is a wealthy nation and Danantara represents a vital national asset.

Currently valued at around $900 billion, Danantara’s assets, if properly handled, could significantly contribute to national prosperity. Prescient Prabowo stressed the need for strict, transparent management systems to protect and grow these assets.

“Danantara is the wealth of the Indonesian people and must be preserved through professional management,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The President also urged all executives to abandon outdated, inefficient, or improper practices, calling for a culture of clean, accountable asset management.
