INP Chief Urges Students to Sharpen Skills, Support Development

Inp.polri.go.id - Yogyakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has called on university students to enhance their skills to help advance government programs, particularly in economic development and human capital.

Speaking at the 12th orientation week of the Indonesian Buddhist Student Association (Hikmahbudhi), je emphasized the importance of digital literacy in the information age. 

“Students should help educate their communities to resist hoaxes and preserve unity,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com over the weekend..

Chief Sigit highlighted programs needing student involvement, such as village cooperatives, affordable housing, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) debt relief, and downstream industry initiatives. In human development, he cited the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) initiative, grassroots schools, teacher welfare improvements, and free health screenings.

Chief Sigit also warned students against drugs and online gambling, urging them to become agents of change and protectors of national values. He received the Hikmahbudhi Award for his role as a public protector and visited student-led MSME booths at the event
