inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo welcomes the audience of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) at the HQ to discuss a number of topics.

In the meeting, General Sigit reiterates his commitment to continue the collaboration with MUI in every activity concerning the welfare of the people.

“We are ready to cooperate and carry out a series of security operations in every MUI activities,” says General Sigit in a press conference at the INP HQ, Thursday (2/5/2026).

Additionally, General Sigit also welcomes the proposal of MUI to work together in mitigating and preparing for the natural disaster in Indonesia.

“We also welcome the planned collaboration regarding training and preparation of MUI personnel in disaster response. Following this talk, we will continue the discussion further towards its technical matters,” said General Sigit.

General Sigit emphasized that INP will always maintain the strong cooperation with MUI and other national elements to safeguard Indonesia.

“We need strong collaboration with all national elements to ensure that public order and security remain stable so that we can develop our economy further,” noted Sigit.
