Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), launched a simultaneous social aid to all regional police offices at the 77th Anniversary of Bhayangkara, also known as National Police Day. The assistance encompasses various services, such as religious support, housing renovations, the development of clean water facilities, and simultaneous distribution of social aid to the community.
"We aspire for these endeavors to yield fruitful outcomes for the community, strengthen the bond between INP and the community, and exemplify our colleagues' commitment in executing INP's transformative journey towards precision, as well as fostering ties between our colleagues and the community," he said during his address at the Bhayangkara field in South Jakarta on Monday (19/6/23).
He emphasized that this aid symbolizes INP's proactive engagement with the community, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequential impact on Indonesia and its citizens due to the global economic situation. Hence, this aid exemplifies INP's commitment to supporting the central government's efforts in maintaining economic stability.
Furthermore, he drew attention to the evolving circumstances surrounding the upcoming 2024 General Elections, demanding careful consideration. With this assistance, his objective is to preserve social harmony amid the prevailing tensions within the community.
"On one hand, this initiative is part of INP's ongoing commitment to nurturing the diversity of Indonesian society, recognizing it as one of our greatest strengths that we must preserve and manage as a crucial asset in realizing a prosperous and thriving Indonesia," he concluded.
