Chaniago, Head of Public Affairs at INP's Public Relations Division, stressed stringent security measures throughout the 2024 election process, emphasizing ballot folding integrity. "Securing the ballot folding is integral to the 2024 elections and requires rigorous attention," he stated on Tuesday (9/1/2024). He explained that police security activities align with agreements made with the General Election Commission (KPU), including provisions for security assistance. "This establishes the legal basis for field collaboration. The police are ready to fully support the quality and integrity of the 2024 General Elections," he said. Throughout this timeframe, on-duty police will uphold maximum security, adhering to election standards until February 14, 2024. Access will be granted solely to authorized KPU or the  Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) officers, with security personnel conducting inspections of individuals engaged in the ballot folding process upon entry and exit.
