INP Probes Change in Citizenship of WanaArtha Fraud Suspect

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Department investigated information regarding the change in citizenship status of Evelina Pietruschka, a suspect in the alleged fraud case at PT Asuransi Jiwa Adisarana Wanaartha, or known as Wanaartha Life.
Evelina, currently a wanted person with a red notice issued by Interpol, is believed to have undergone a change in citizenship.
Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, the Director of the Special Economic Criminal Investigation, said on Tuesday (9/1/2024) that the police is communicating with relevant authorities to verify Evelina's citizenship status.
"As for the change in citizenship status, it is being communicated with relevant parties to confirm her citizenship," he said.
Evelina, along with two other suspects, Manfred Pietruschka and Rezanantha Fadil Pietruschka, has been implicated in a case involving alleged fraud and falsification of policyholder data at WanaArtha Life.
The Special Economic Criminal Investigation Directorate have named seven individuals as suspects in the case, charging them with multiple offenses under various articles of the Insurance Law and the Criminal Code related to fraud and money laundering.
