inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) held an event called “INP Assessor Assessment Center Consolidation 2026” at Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in effort to realize a better human resource quality.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the INP Human Resource Division Career Development Bureau, Brigadier General Langgeng Purnomo, representing the Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources. 

In his remarks, Langgeng emphasized that INP continues to refine its reform transformation steps towards a modern and professional organization through more transparent and accountable personnel governance.

"Strengthening the meritocratic system through a multi-tool and multi-assessor assessment center for the career development of police members will ensure the selection of INP personnel with integrity and competence amidst increasingly complex global challenges," Langgeng explained.

As a vital instrument in realizing this transformation, INP is optimizing the role of the Assessment Center. This facility serves as a strategic "filter" for measuring the managerial competency of prospective Polri leaders at various levels. 

Through a scientific and objective methodology, the Assessment Center ensures that each position is filled by the right person in the right place, while eliminating the stigma of subjectivity in police career paths.

"This year, we are strengthening its career development meritocracy through the Assessment Center. Therefore, this consolidation is necessary for better analysis and evaluation of future improvements. Our grand vision is to create superior human resources not only within the force but also for the entire Indonesian nation," Langgeng said.
