Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Brigadier General Police Mukti Juharsa, the Director of Narcotics Crime at the Indonesian  National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency, has confirmed that fugitive drug kingpin Fredy Pratama remains in Thailand, specifically within its forests. "I am confident he is still in Thailand, likely deep in the forests," he on Wednesday (13/3/2024), as reported by antaranews.com Chief Mukti refrained from disclosing the precise forest location, citing ongoing investigations. "While we have information on his whereabouts, I can't reveal specifics at this time to safeguard our investigation," he explained. Chief Mukti emphasized ongoing collaboration with Thai authorities to intensify efforts in pursuing Fredy. "After Eid al-Fitr 2024, we plan to revisit Thailand to bolster our joint operations," he said. The INP has been monitoringthe conclusion of Lian Silas's trial, Fredy's father, to proceed with investigations into money laundering allegations. "We await the outcome of Lian Silas's trial to potentially seize assets linked to Fredy Pratama in Thailand," Chief Mukti added. Since the September 2023 disclosure of Fredy's network, Indonesian authorities have been relentless in their pursuit, resulting in the arrest of 58 suspects connected to his drug syndicate.
