Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) sent emergency aid to victims of recent natural disasters in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra on Saturday.
INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau Chief Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said the deployment follows completed coordination and finalization of logistics needs.
“The INP has prepared accelerated distribution measures, and the refinement of needs from affected regions is ongoing, including the preparation of the cargo manifest,” he noted on Friday (28/11/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Chief Trunoyudo emphasized that all aid distribution steps are carried out in a measured and targeted manner through continuous communication with regional units. Several police aircraft are on standby at the INP’s Water and Air Police Headquarters in Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang, awaiting final departure schedules and designated landing points.
Aircraft crews have also been mobilized to ensure safe and smooth transport of relief goods. Key supplies to be dispatched include 150 tents, 64 rubber boats, generators, and 100 communication signal devices to restore connectivity.
