Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Criminal Investigation Agency has arrested several individuals suspected of supplying methamphetamine to an online taxi driver accused of rape and assault.
Director of Narcotics Crime Brigadier Eko Hadi Santoso said on Friday (28/11/2025) that the arrests were made after the narcotics element of the case was transferred to his directorate.
“The joint team has arrested several people suspected of being part of the drug network that supplied methamphetamine to suspect FG, the online taxi driver who committed the rape,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com
Investigators are now expanding their probe to identify the full structure of the drug distribution network. The arrests follow the earlier detention of suspect FG (49), who allegedly assaulted and raped a female passenger, identified as NG (30), during a trip from Depok, West Javqa to Soekarno–Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten
Police seized methamphetamine, the victim’s clothing, two mobile phones, a green Mazda 2, a firearm-like object, and personal items. Urine tests confirmed suspect FG was positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
