Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has distributed 93,015 tons of Stabilization of Food Supply and Prices (SPHP) rice across the country between 6 August and 7 October 2025, as part of the Gerakan Pangan Murah (Affordable Food Movement).
“The INP’s contribution accounts for 36.82 percent of the national SPHP rice distribution, which reached 252,590 tons,” said INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/10/2025). “Today, we are continuing the effort by distributing an additional 1,500 tons nationwide, including 50 tons in Banten.”
In Banten, the rice distribution coincided with the INP’s fourth-quarter nationwide corn planting initiative in Bantar Panjang Village, Tangerang.
Chief Sigit emphasized that the initiative reflects the INP’s active role in maintaining food stability and supporting government programs.
“These efforts demonstrate our full commitment to safeguarding national food availability and price stability,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
