inp.polri.go.id - Aceh. The Aceh Regional Police Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate destroyed the drugs evidence from the results of disclosures over the past three months. A total of 80.5 kg of crystal methamphetamine, 1.3 tons of marijuana, and 1 kg of cocaine were successfully destroyed.

“Every three minutes we collect the drugs evidence to destroy them,” said the Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation of Aceh Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Shobarmen on Tuesday (10/7/2025).

In his statement, he revealed that the drugs evidence from the case disclosures is destroyed periodically. The majority of narcotics, especially marijuana, were obtained from Gayo Lues Regency.

"We, together with the special marijuana unit, have been able to secure the three tons of drugs, which we generally get from Gayo Lues," he explained.

In addition to destroying the drugs, his team has also arrested a total of 22 suspects. These suspects are involved in various cases.
