Indonesian National Police (INP) states no special treatment during the examination on Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chair Firli Bahuri in the allegation extortion case towards former Minister Agriculture Syahril Yasin Limpo. Firli examined in the INP Criminal Investigation Unit building. The examination on Tuesday is the first examination since the case was reported. “No special treatment, I repeat no special treatment,” says the Head of Public Information Bureau, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters. He stressed that the case is currently handled by the Sub-directorate of Corruption Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police. INP Criminal Investigation Unit only facilitates the room for Firli examination. “What needs to be highlighted is that INP Criminal Investigation Unit only facilitates room. The examination was carried out by the investigators of Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation,” he explained. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
