inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that the handling of the adulterated rice case has made significant progress to date. This was confirmed after the INP Food Task Force Team began investigating the case.

"The team has been working since yesterday, and perhaps there will be a statement soon from the INP Food Task Force," said INP Chief at STIK-PTIK, South Jakarta, Tuesday (7/22/2025).

According to General Sigit, the full results of the handling will be explained in the release.

President Prabowo Subianto, during the launch of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative, mentioned INP Chief and the Attorney General three times. The President ordered both to immediately take action against rice adulterators who have been selling regular rice as premium rice.
