Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) announced Wednesday (17/9/2025) it will work with external institutions in the search for three men reported missing after protests in late August 2025.
The missing are identified as Bima Permana Putra, Muhammad Farhan Hamid, and Reno Syaputradewo.
“We will take technical measures and cooperate with institutions, including Komnas HAM, KontraS, Kompolnas, and other relevant bodies,” said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau, referring to the National Human Rights Commission, the Commission for the Disappeared and Victims of Violence and the National Police Commission.
He urged families of the missing to share information with police or Kompolnas to strengthen the investigation, as reported by antaranews.com.
The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have opened a missing persons complaint post and set up a joint search team. However, officials said no formal reports have been filed by the families. A 24-hour hotline, 0812-8559-9191, has also been made available for public tips.
