Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police’s Medical and Health Unit have set up a free medical post for residents affected by the flash floods in Nagekeo district, treating about 60 people since opening on Wednesday (17/9/2025).
“Since this morning, around 60 residents, including victims’ families and nearby communities, have received medical check-ups and medicines,” said NTT Police Medical Chief Superintendent Dr. Hery Purwanto in Nagekeo.
He told antaranews.com that the team also provides advice on nutrition, rest, and disease prevention in post-flood conditions. Most cases involve fever, diarrhea, and skin infections.
NTT Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent. Henry Novika Chandra confirmed that officers are also distributing humanitarian aid and continuing the search for three missing residents, assisted by police dogs.
“We want the people of Nagekeo to know they are not alone in facing this tragedy,” he said.
