Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that the force remains open to evaluation and reform following the establishment of the Police Reform Commission by President Prabowo Subianto.
“The Indonesian National Police are always open to improvements and evaluations because we also want to enhance our performance and meet the expectations of the public,” he said after attending the commission’s first meeting at INP Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday (10/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
Chief Sigit, who also serves as a member of the 10-member commission led by former Constitutional Court Chief Justice Jimly Asshiddiqie, said his role is to bridge internal police perspectives with the reform commission’s work.
Jimly added that the commission will issue two sets of recommendations, one to the President and another directly to the police.
President Prabowo inaugurated the commission last Friday under Presidential Decree No. 122P/2025 to accelerate institutional reform and restore public trust in law enforcement.
