Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division commemorates Isra Mi’raj which attended by PR Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho and ranks. The commemoration also invites Daud Hendi Ismail. In the commemoration of Isra Mi’raj, the police raise the theme of “Let us Improve Our Faith, Nurture Unity in Diversity, Strengthening Nationalities and Maintaining Unity and Integrity in Realizing Safe, Cool, Peaceful and Dignified Elections. Police states that they chose the theme as this year’s Isra Mi’raj is different from others as it coincides with 2024 General Election. The event starts with the reading of the holy chapter of Al-Qur’an, followed by Khataman Quran prayer, reading the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and continued with sermons. On that momentum, the attendances prayed for polling stations security and prayed for health and prime conditions of personnel in securing the election. They also pray for smooth election as there are several areas who have not yet voted due to disasters and social issues. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
