The Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo told the public to report to Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) and Constitutional Court (MK) if there are evidence of fraud or election cheat. “If you have the evidence, bring them to Bawaslu and MK,” explained President Jokowi quoted from Antara on Thursday (2/15/2024). Jokowi says that cheat mitigation throughout the election processhave been implemented by placing political party, legislative candidate, to presidential and vice-presidential candidate witnesses in Polling Stations. Even, security personnel also dispatched to polling stations to anticipate cheating. “I believe a thorough monitoring that we have implemented will mitigate election cheating,” said Jokowi. Moreover, if there are cheating indications President Jokowi says that there are mechanism that have been regulated by the constitution, which are through Bawaslu and trials in MK. Therefore, the president thought there should not be any commotions around the allegations. “Everything has been regulated. So, don’t scream at each other and accuse others of cheating.
