Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.   The Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division launched a Gerakan Pangan Murah (Cheap Food Drive) on Monday (25/8/2025) at the INPi Headquarters, Jakarta, in support of government efforts to stabilize food prices. 

The initiative, carried out with state logistics agency Bulog, is intended to ease household spending and control inflation.

“This Drive provides affordable staple packages containing four key commodities,” said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of the Police Public Information Bureau, during the launch, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The package, sold for Rp 157,000, includes 10 kilograms of rice, flour, sugar, and cooking oil. Beneficiaries include the public, media workers, and police officers in the division.

Chief Trunoyudo stressed that the program demonstrates the INP’s commitment to serving communities and supporting government food security policies. Nationwide, the police have organized nearly 20,000 cheap markets and distributed tens of thousands of tons of rice to households across Indonesia.
