Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) was praised for the security measures during the 2023 Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum.
"The INP has demonstrated a high level of maturity in preparing for the security of a summit," said Ngasiman Djoyonegoro, an intelligence analyst on Wednesday(11/10/2023)
The INP's achievement in securing international summits was evident, having previously secured the G-20 Summit in Bali and the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo and Jakarta, he said. This accomplishment underscores Indonesia's capability to host international gatherings and diplomatic activities.
Djoyonegoro emphasized the significance of summit security, noting that it reflects a nation's strength, stability, and economic prowess. Safeguarding such events, especially in tourist hotspots like Bali, is no easy feat. The INP's ability to secure summits highlights Indonesia's leadership on the global stage in addressing climate change challenges.
"It seems that Polri is well-prepared and vigilant in dealing with various potential challenges that may arise," he said.
