inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division extended its condolences on the passing of Meriyati Hoegeng, also known as Eyang Meri, the wife of the late General (Ret.) Hoegeng Iman Santoso. She passed away at the age of 100.

"We, of the Indonesian National Police family, offer our deepest condolences," explained the Head of INP Public Relations Division, Inspector General Johnny Edison Isir, to reporters on Tuesday (2/3/2026).

Inspector General Johnny also offered prayers for Eyang Meri to be placed in the best place by His side.

"May God bless her passing," he concluded.

Previously, the Head of the Bhayangkara Police Hospital, Brigadier General Prima Heru Yulihartono, stated that Eyang Meri passed away after undergoing treatment for an illness.
