Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) reported a harvest of 7,153 tons of corn in the third quarter of 2025, cultivated on 1,788 hectares across multiple provinces.
A central ceremony was held in East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), South Sumatra, on Saturday (27/9/2025).
“The INP is committed to supporting all government programs, including achieving national food self-sufficiency,” said INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in an official statement, as quoted by antaranews.com
The event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, National Food Agency head Arief Prasetyo Adi, and Bulog president director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani.
The INP manages 819,080 hectares of farmland nationwide, with 483,822 hectares already planted under the food security initiative. In the first and second quarters of 2025, the program produced more than 2 million tons of corn from 360,019 hectares.
