The Indonesian National Police (INP) successfully resolved the hacking incident involving the YouTube account of the House of Representatives (DPR) on the morning of September 7, 2023, as stated by Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Head of the Public Affairs Bureau of the INP Public Relations Division. He explained that the handling of this case was conducted in coordination with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), and other relevant stakeholders. "The account has now been restored," he confirmed on Friday (8/9/23). Additionally, he revealed that the account was compromised by an online gambling server. Initially, the account was temporarily suspended before being completely restored.
