Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) supported  the government's budget efficiency policy as outlined in Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2025 by President Prabowo Subianto.

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the INP Public Relations Division Head of the Public Information Bureau, emphasized on Tuesday (28/1/2025) that the iNP backs the government's efforts to promote fiscal discipline. 

“We support the efforts to streamline government spending, which will contribute to financial efficiency,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The INPi plans to implement the policy through several measures, such as reducing travel allowances for its personnel, selectively organizing meetings and seminars deemed non-essential, and adopting digital technologies for administrative and operational processes to cut costs.

"These actions are expected to result in significant budget savings," Chief Trunoyudo added, ensuring that the efficiency measures would not compromise the iNPi's core duties in maintaining public safety, law enforcement, and public service.
