inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Task Force, Inspector General Nurworo Danang, emphasized that INP continues to expand the construction of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG), with a target of completing 56 units by the end of this year. All construction is still funded internally by the institution, without involving third parties.
"We are proposing an additional 30 SPPGs so that by the end of the year, we will have 56 SPPGs entirely funded by INP," he said on Wednesday (8/6/2025).
Of the 30 proposals, eight SPPGs are ready for construction, four are being managed, and 18 others are still in the registration process.
Despite high enthusiasm, he revealed challenges on the ground, with some construction sites showing no progress despite having been booked months in advance.
"This situation is reducing the effectiveness and interest of work units that actually want to build SPPGs," he explained.
INP also plans to collaborate with external partners early next year to expand the scope of construction. The National Police Headquarters will facilitate the determination of strategic locations through geospatial mapping to support the enthusiasm of the Police Chiefs in various regions.
