inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Vice Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, emphasized their commitment to accelerating educational transformation as a foundation for developing superior human resources that are professional, adaptive, and have integrity.
According to him, the Analysis and Evaluation for the First Semester becomes an important moment to design a new education system for police in 2027.
“The entire curriculum of police education is now being re-designed to be inline with the Law Number 5, 2026 and the recommendation of police reformation. Our dedication must be based on human rights, strengthening competency, professionalism, and answering the challenges of current issues,” noted Dedi.
The reforms cover all levels of education, from basic education to primary, secondary, and tertiary development. The new curriculum will also be implemented in various formal education programs, including those for the INP Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), Integrated Police Service Center (Sentra Pelayanan Polri), Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob), Water Police (Polair), and Intelligence.
In addition, Dedi inaugurated the Police Academy Thematic Class as a learning innovation that represents the main functions of the police force. Going forward, this concept will be expanded to include thematic classes for all regional police departments, highlighting regional characteristics, local wisdom, and the use of big data as a learning tool for cadets.
