Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo confirmed that police offices across Indonesia, from headquarters to local precincts, will host free public screenings of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The announcement followed his meeting with TVRI officials at INP Headquarters in South Jakarta on Wednesday (10/6/2026).
“We agreed that the INP will help organize public screenings at the INP Headquarters, regional police headquarters, sub-regional police offices, and local police offices nationwide,” said Chief Sigit.
He said that the initiative aims to provide entertainment for football fans while supporting local small businesses.
The screenings will also include community education on public order and safety. According to Chief Sigit, the program is designed to strengthen ties between police and citizens, particularly ahead of Bhayangkara Day. Police will assist with permits, security, and coordination to ensure safe and enjoyable events.
