Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps predicts the significant increase in traffic volume of 2024 Homecoming Flow would begin on April 5th, 2024. In anticipation of that, they aimed to implement traffic engineering on that day at 14.00 pm. “We estimate that April 5th and 6th would be the peak of homecoming flow,” said INP Taffic Corps Ops Division Chief, Senior Superintendent Eddy Junaedi. Moreover, according to him the peak of return flow would be on April 14th and 15th as he implores people to return as soon as possible to avoid congestions. Previously INP Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Aan Suhanan states that contraflow, one-way, even and odds plate number would be implemented during the homecoming flow. Furthermore, police predict there would be an increase 5% to 6% of people going for homecoming than the last year, from 123 millions to 136.7 millions of people for 2024. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
