inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps conducted a training activity to improve the technology capabilities of corps personnel in utilizing Artificial Intelligence, together with Gunadarma University, to support the traffic police's duties.
Head of the Human Resources Sub-Division of the Traffic Corps, Superintendent Hendra Wahyudi, explained that the training aimed to improve skills in technology, particularly AI.
"We are theming this capacity building program to improve the capabilities of personnel in AI technology because AI is very helpful in police work both at the regional and field levels," said Head of the Human Resources Sub-Division of the Korlantas Polri, Superintendent Hendra Wahyudi on Monday (8/25/2025).
With this AI utilization training, Hendra hopes that the personnel who have participated in the training will be able to interact directly with the public through technology.
Meanwhile, Deputy Rector III of Gunadarma University, Irwan Bastian, emphasized the importance of this training in supporting police duties, particularly in improving personnel's skills in the field of information technology.
"This is to improve the capabilities of our personnel, and we know very well that the Traffic Corps (Korlantas), especially in the IT field, requires specialized skills," said Irwan Bastian, Vice Rector III of Gunadarma University.
Irwan expressed his hope that this training would provide optimal benefits, particularly for the personnel who participated, particularly in mastering the Artificial Intelligence material.
"Hopefully, this training will be beneficial, especially for the personnel who participated, especially regarding the Artificial Intelligence material," explained Irwan Bastian.
