inp.polri.go.id - South Kalimantan. The South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate conducted a price stability check and the availability of staple foods at Pandu Market in Banjarmasin on Monday morning (8/25/2025).
This inspection aimed to ensure a smooth supply and prevent hoarding and speculation that could trigger price increases.
The inspection was carried out in accordance with the instructions of the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan.
This activity was led directly by Police Senior Inspector Sufian Noor who monitored the prices of several commodities, including rice, cooking oil, onions, eggs, and meat.
"Food stocks are secure and prices remain stable according to the Highest Retail Price (HET). We will continue to monitor to anticipate fluctuations," said AKP Sufian.
Going forward, the South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force will expand operations to other markets and strengthen synergy to maintain food security in South Kalimantan.
The South Kalimantan Regional Police Food Task Force also urges the public to report any hoarding, selling above the retail price (HET), or counterfeiting of products by calling 110 or going to the nearest police station.
