INP Urges Public to Report Thuggery via Hotline or WhatsApp

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has renewed its call for the public to report acts of thugger without hesitation. Reports can be submitted through the Polri hotline 110 (toll-free) or via WhatsApp at 0896-8233-3678.

INP Head of the Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, said on Saturday (17/5/2025) that the nearest police office will immediately respond to any report, and the identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.

“Thuggery is a public menace and will not be tolerated. The police are committed to protecting citizens from such acts,”he  said.

Chief Sandi emphasized that the INP is working closely with the military and local administrations to ensure swift and coordinated action against thuggery across Indonesia, aiming to maintain public order and safeguard investment.

He reiterated the INP’s commitment to always be present to protect the public and eliminate any space for criminal intimidation within the rule of law
