The Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensured that the INP will continue to take steps to fulfill public expectations, The Head of the Public Relations Division of INP Inspector General Sandi Nugroho said. He underscored that the continuously increasing public trust is tangible proof that the police force is continuously improving to optimize services to the public. Additionally, the increase in public trust is a result of the dedication and hard work of all police personnel who continuously serve and provide assistance to the community. "We are very open to suggestions, input, and constructive criticism to realize a precise INP institution in providing the best service to the community," he said on Wednesday (12/7/23). He assured that the police force will continue to strive to provide the best service to protect and serve the community. It is known that the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) stated that the level of trust in the police force has now reached 65%. The increase in public trust in the Indonesian National Police is attributed to the firm orders of the Chief of INP to his ranks to professionally resolve major cases. "This achievement certainly brings fresh air and serves as public affirmation of the efforts of the INP to continuously improve," said the Executive Director of LSI Djayadi Hanan in an online press conference on Tuesday (11/7/23). He explained that public trust in the police force has increased since the findings in April 2023, surpassing the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the People's Consultative Assembly (DPR), and political parties.
