The investigators of Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation Directorate secured Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) documents of the corruption case involving Agriculture Ministry in 2021. The confiscation follows the extortion allegations by KPK Chair Firli Bahuri towards former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo. The confiscation was carried out after the institution offers the documents to the investigators on October 23rd, 2023, Monday. However, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak did not reveal the details of the document. In another occasion, he also explains that the documents is related to the extortion allegations by the KPK Chair, which is now being investigated by the police. “This will be the evidence from series of investigations by our joint investigators,” he concluded.
