Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The survey result of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) shows sexual violence numbers is still high in college. The survey per July 2023 shows there are 65 sexual harassment in college, while there are 22 cases in High School, and 28 in elementary school.
“Most sexual harassment occurred in college,” says Kemendikbudristek Inspector II, Sutoyo on Tuesday (10/24/2023).
The survey also shows bullying and intolerant case in educational units. According to the survey, there are 30 case of bullying in junior high school, 18 in elementary school, and 13 in college.
In case of intolerant in educational units, Sutoyo says junior high school still dominate others with 13 cases, while there are other units such as elementary school and college are only nine and two cases.
Inspector Sutoyo then implores public, particularly students and parents who experienced bullying and harassment to report the case to the Kemedikbudristek. Victims could report the case to Lapor Kemendikbudristek website.
