Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Jakarta Provincial Government will add another parking location who applies the highest price for vehicle that have not passed an emissions test. So, in total there will be 65 parking locations spread across Jakarta. “So, there would be at least 65 expensive parking lot for vehicle unpassed with the emission test,” says Head of Jakarta Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Friday (20/10/23). According to him, the expensive parking lot will be applied gradually. He reveals Jakarta initially has 10 expensive parking lot and there would be 15 more for this week. “There would be 15 more for this week as we initially only have 10 parking lot, which brings the total parking lot to 25,” says Syafrin. Moreover, he says his party will adds 20 more as soon as possible. According to Governor Regulation No. 120 of 2012, the highest rate for parking is IDR 5,000 per hour for 4-wheeled vehicles from the current rate of IDR 3,000 for the first hour. For the following hours, a parking fee of IDR 2,000 will be charged. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
