Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Governor of Jakarta Pramono Anung Wibowo announced that the public can now visit and exercise at Ragunan Zoo during a night trial program starting Saturday. 

The “Night at the Ragunan Zoo” initiative allows visitors to explore from 6 pm  to 10 pm.

“I’ve asked for a trial period so people can enjoy Ragunan at night, not only for leisure but also for exercise, since Ragunan has one of the best sports facilities,” he said at City Hall on Thursday (9/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The program will run every Saturday night, featuring nocturnal animal viewing areas such as tiger enclosures, small mammal zones, terrariums, and hippo ponds. Visitors may rent e-cars for Rp250,000 per hour.

Private vehicles will be restricted, with shuttle transport provided to reduce congestion and protect animal comfort. The zoo has also upgraded lighting systems and security to ensure safe, eco-friendly nighttime experiences for families.
