Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have located Bima Permana Putra, one of three persons reported missing after recent protests in Jakarta, on Wednesday (17/9/2025) selling lion dance toys at Eng An Kiong Temple in Malang, East Java.
“Through a series of investigations and analysis, officers successfully identified and located Bima at 1.55 pm local time today in Malang,” said Jakarta Police Head of Public Relations Brigadier General. Ade Ary Syam Indradi, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He confirmed that Bima has since been transferred to Metro Jaya Police Headquarters for further handling. His case was among three disappearance reports that surfaced on social media after demonstrations in late August. The other two missing persons are identified as Muhammad Farhan Hamid and Reno Syaputradewo.
Authorities earlier set up a special complaint post for missing persons linked to the protests, urging the public to provide information via a 24-hour hotline. Investigations and searches for the remaining two persons are ongoing.
