Inp.polri.go.id - Jembrana. The Jembrana Sub-regional Police’s health officers in Bali inspected free meal menus under the government’s Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program to ensure student meals are safe for consumption.

“This examination is to make sure the food served to students is safe,” said Jembrana Police Medical Section Head Assistant First Inspector I Gusti Bagus Adi Sadnyana Putra on Wednesday (17/9/2025). “All meals tested from the Nutrition Fulfillment Service kitchens contained no hazardous substances such as arsenic, cyanide, nitrites, or formalin. The food is safe to eat.”

The inspection covered both chemical tests and organoleptic evaluations, including color, texture, taste, and aroma, confirming that meals meet health standards. Police officials said that regular checks will continue to safeguard student health, according to antaranews.com.

Jembrana Police Chief Superintendent Kadek Citra Dewi Suparwati added that the unit not only supports MBG but also educates students about healthy eating.
