"Priority is given to those with Jakarta ID cards. However, we are open to those with non-Jakarta ID cards; we will still serve them," explained Emanuel Kristanto, Head of the Road Transportation Division of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, on Wednesday (2/25/2026).
Registration is conducted online at mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id, requiring a KTP and Family Card (KK). Each family card can only register four participants.

The first cluster is for Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, and Cilacap. Registration for this cluster will open from February 22-24, 2026, with verification scheduled for February 25-27, 2026.
The second cluster will be for destinations in Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, and Pekalongan. Registration for this cluster will be from February 25-27, 2026, and verification will be from February 28-March 2, 2026.
The third cluster will be for destinations in Wonogiri, Kediri, Malang, Wonosobo, Purwokerto, Semarang, and Sidoarjo. Registration for this cluster will be from February 28-March 2, 2026, and verification will be from March 3-5, 2026.
"After verification, departure will begin. Passengers will depart at Monas on March 17, 2026, and motorcycles will depart at Pulogadung Terminal on March 16, 2026," said Emanuel.
This year, the Jakarta Provincial Government is providing 366 buses for the homecoming flow, an increase from 293 buses in 2025. Meanwhile, for the return flow, 295 buses are being provided from 20 destinations with a capacity of 11,800 passengers, an increase from 228 buses in 2025.
Through the Free Homecoming Program, the Jakarta Provincial Government is providing safe and comfortable public transportation while also easing traffic congestion during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.
