Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. The Traffic Directorate of the Jambi Regional Police conducted a humanitarian charity drive on Sunday (21/6/2026), distributing basic necessities and educational supplies to two orphanages in Jambi City as part of the public outreach leading up to the 80th Bhayangkara Day.
"After 80 years of police service, we want to be present not only on the highways but also among communities in need," said Jambi Traffic Police Director Senior Superintendent Adi Benny Cahyono, who personally led the distribution alongside senior traffic officials.
The delegation visited the Abul Hasan Orphanage and the Umi Ikhlas Orphanage, handing out staple foods, school kits, and financial packages directly to the children and institution caretakers.
During the visit, officers spent time interacting and motivating the children to pursue their education. Orphanage representatives highly appreciated the initiative, noting that the assistance heavily offsets daily operational needs while boosting the children's morale.
