Joint security forces comprising the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026, the RI-PNG Yonif 734/SNS Border Patrol Task Force, Kopasgat units, and the Oksibil Police Officeinstalled solar-powered lighting systems and distributed aid to residents in Arinkop Village, Kalomdol District, Bintang Mountain Regency, Papua Mountains, on Friday (2/10/2026).
Officers assembled and mounted solar panel lights across the village to illuminate public areas after dark, while handing out clothing to adults and snacks to local children.
Local community leader Tedy Kakyamabin thanked the solar lighting and direct engagement, noting that the initiative provided tangible benefits while fostering positive communication between security personnel and the local community.
Following the social outreach initiative, the joint units conducted dialogic security patrols across strategic points in Oksibil, including the BintangMountain Service Agency Office area, Okmin Papua University, and the Oksibil Old Market.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Head Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani said that providing direct community benefits forms an integral part of the task force's humanist outreach strategy in Papua.
Damai Cartenx Deputy Head Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that combined social service and dialogic patrols strengthen two-way communication between security forces, customary leaders, and local residents, reinforcing regional public order and stability across Bintang Mountain.
