Jokowi Flew to West Sumatra for Working Visit

Inp.polri.go.id – West Sumatra. President Joko Widodo is in West Sumatra Province for working visit, one of which is to inaugurate Rokot Airport at Mentawai Island. West Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Suharyono then welcomes the visit of the Indonesian number one person at Minangkabau International Airport on Wednesday (10/25/2023). After welcoming the President, Suharyono then accompany Jokowi to Mentawai Island with presidential plane. From Mentawai, the entourage will then visit State Vocational School 5 Padang to inspect the facilities and school activities. Then, they were also scheduled to visit East Rawang Bulog Warehouse, Padang, to inspect rice stock, before departing to South Sumatra. West Sumatra Police Public Relations Chief Grand Commissioner Dwi Sulistyawan then reveals their party have deployed thousands of personnel to guarantees president safety. “There are 1,662 police personnel involved in VVIP security measures of President Indonesian Republic, Joko Widodo,” says Dwi on Wednesday (10/25/2023). Dwi also states police have also implemented traffic engineering for presidential entourage smooth travel. (ad/my/pr/nm)
