Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. President Joko Widodo believes foreign investors would flock to invest on Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan, after local investors have moved to invest on the new Indonesian capital.
“For now, there is not any (foreign investors). But I am sure after our local investors are moving, in every month, foreign investors would immediately come in. We will see, I am sure they will,” says Jokowi on Friday (11/17/2023).
He states the foreign investment on IKN would prioritize the educational, health, and technology sector.
Moreover, Jokowi estimate that the economic state of Indonesia would grow 5 percent in 2024.
“Next year, I am sure would be above five percent, and inflation would still be in 2-3 percent. What’s important is the politic stability is very well maintained. That is what I repeatedly said,” explains Jokowi.
