inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will open and lead the meeting between country leaders in the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) on September 2nd.
“This joint leaders session will meet the Indonesia-Africa Forum and High Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholders Partnership, which will be opened and led by President Joko Widodo,” says the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansury on Thursday (8/8/2024).
He says that the meeting will be in the format of a Summit meeting which makes the state leaders who join the meeting to convey their national statement on the agenda.
Moreover, Mansury confirms five states from Africa will join the meeting. He also revealed that the meeting will carry the theme of “Building Inclusive Cooperation for Solid Development”.
Before opening the second IAF meeting, Jokowi will host the Welcoming Dinner on September 1st. On that day, there will be a meeting of the Indonesia-Africa Parliamentary Forum by the Indonesian House of Representatives Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency.
